We are Changing Our Therapy Platform - Here’s Why

I have a grandson who is struggling with reading. I knew he would benefit from structured literacy therapy, but he lives hours away from my carefully cultivated dyslexia therapy facility. I was deeply frustrated with my options; flashing-back to the helplessness I felt as a mother learning about dyslexia. Luckily, I was able to find an incredible platform that checked all my boxes: Lexercise

After months of research, it is undeniably the right path for the Learning Center. I would like to walk through some of the benefits this change will offer and how it is beneficial to existing clients.

What is Lexercise?

Lexercise is an online platform for dyslexia therapy. It is accredited by International Dyslexia Association and practices Orton Gillingham methodologies.

How does it work?

It combines online sessions by a certified therapist with daily practice via online games and activities. This creates fast and reliable results.

Is it trustworthy?

  • Guaranteed Results - It is always reassuring when a company stands behind their product. Lexercise offers guarantees on the gains their clients will make. You can read more about their guarantee policy here.

  • Research Based - Lexercise is backed by organizations like IDA, the Center for Effective Reading Instruction, and Dyslexia Services Foundation. They are continuously following the research to bring the best results possible to their clients. This is a structured literacy methodology (Orton-Gillingham) that ties the benefits of a trained therapist with immersion therapy via fun and relevant games.

My Favorite part?

The Lexercise platform is completely virtual! Students will work one on one with a certified therapist once a week. They will reinforce their new skills via online games and exercises. Students will not need to attend a brick-and-mortar facility anymore. This was one of the greatest barriers to success for our previous therapy methods. I am so relieved to be able to offer therapy regardless of a student’s location.

This is the platform I will be using with my grandchildren as they overcome their struggles with reading. If you are considering reading therapy for yourself or your child, please feel free to reach out to TLC for more information or a consultation.
